Guam Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Chamber of Commerce is as follows: “The Guam Chamber of Commerce exists to advance the general welfare of its members by promoting the economic, social and environmental well-being of the Territory of Guam; The Chamber seeks to develop, encourage, promote and protect the commercial, professional, financial, and general business interest of the Territory of Guam, to extend and promote the trade and commerce, and foster, develop and protect the industry of the Territory; to procure laws and regulations desirable for the benefit of business in general; and to provide a forum for the reflection of sentiments of business regarding matters affecting its interests.” For more information and ways to get involved, visit http://www.guamchamber.com.gu/

Within the Guam Chamber of Commerce is the Armed Forces Committee (AFC), which “Fosters mutual respect and a congenial working relationship between businesses and the military communities; promotes cooperation through the free flow of information; and ensures fair treatment for local business with the military”. Navy League of the United States-Guam Council

The role of the Navy League in Guam is “Proudly providing support for men and women who serve in our country's sea services; and the youth of Guam who participate in NLUS supported programs. USO

According to the USO, “The mission of the USO is to lift the spirits of troops and their families and that mission is accomplished on a daily basis thanks to the dedication and generosity of the American people. Whether it is a commitment of time from a volunteer or a contribution of dollars from a donor, the USO turns this generosity into centers, programs and services that reach troops in the most remote corners of the globe.”
