Texas visits Yokosuka during Indo-Asia-Pacific Deployment

TOKYO BAY (Feb. 05, 2015) – Sailors, aboard the Virginia-class attack submarine USS Texas (SSN 775), moor the boat to the pier. Texas is visiting Yokosuka for a port visit. U.S. Navy port visits represent an important opportunity to promote stability and security in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, demonstrate commitment to regional partners and foster growing relationships. Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet Views Shipboard Repair Facilities

POLARIS POINT, Guam (January 21, 2016) -- Vice Adm. Joseph Aucoin, center, commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, returns a salute as he walks through the side boys as he comes aboard the Submarine Tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Jan. 21.  Aucoin visited Frank Cable to see first hand the repair capabilities the ship offers to units in the 7th Fleet.  During the tour of the ship, Aucoin met with Frank Cable Sailors who demonstrated their shop's repair capabilities that are offered to submarines and surface ships.  Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
