CDR Michael Lilleberg

Commanding Officer, USS Vermont (SSN 792)

Commander Michaell Lilleberg is a native of Victor, Montana, and a 2004 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.

His sea tours include division officer assignments aboard USS Nevada (SSBN 733), engineer officer aboard USS Santa Fe (SSN 763), and executive officer aboard USS Providence (SSN 719).

His shore tours included duty as a member of the staffs of Commander, Maritime Air Naples, and Commander, Submarines South in Naples, Italy; engineer officer for Commander, Submarine Squadron 6; and Commanding Officer Sam Rayburn (MTS 635).
