Cmdr. Allen Agor

Commanding Officer, Blue Crew, USS Henry M. Jackson

Commander Allen Agor is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 2004, and a Master of Science in Engineering Acoustics from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2011.

Commander Agor relieved as Commanding Officer of HENRY M. JACKSON (BLUE) in July 2021. Prior sea tours were as a Division Officer on USS CHICAGO (SSN 721), Weapons Officer Officer on USS HAMPTON (SSN 767), and Executive Officer on USS MICHIGAN (SSGN 727) (BLUE). His experiences at sea include five Western Pacific deployments, and transits across the Equator and under the North Pole.

Shore assignments were as Fleet Integration Director at Submarine Learning Center (Groton, CT) and Operations Officer at Commander, Submarine Group NINE (Bangor, WA).
