5th Fleet Region

5th FleetThe 5th Fleet of the United States Navy is responsible for naval forces in the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea and coast off East Africa as far south as Kenya. It shares a commander and headquarters with U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT). 5th Fleet/NAVCENT is a component command of, and reports to CENTCOM.

 

 

7th Fleet Region

7th FleetThe United States 7th Fleet is a naval military formation based in Yokosuka, Japan, with units positioned near South Korea and Japan. It is subordinate to Commander, Pacific Fleet. At present it is the largest of the forward-deployed U.S. fleets, with 50–60 ships, 350 aircraft and 60,000 Navy and Marine Corps personnel.
