Teresa L. Stiggers

Senior Chief Petty Officer Teresa Leah Stiggers is a native of Greenville, Texas and graduated from Royse City High School in 1994. She enlisted into the United States Navy on October 11, 1994.
She reported to her first duty station at Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Naval Station, San Diego. There she was assigned as the Assistant Warehouseman at the Naval Station San Diego Hazardous Material Minimization Center.
Her next tour was at Beach Master Unit One in Coronado, CA, from 1997-2001. There she was advanced to Storekeeper Third Class and received the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification while deployed with the USS Tarawa (LHA-1). In October 2000, she participated in Operation Determined Response, to provide USS COLE (DDG 67) and United States Government agencies on-site logistics, force protection, and evacuation support following the horrific terrorist attack.
In 2001, she reported to Navy Region Southwest Transient Personnel Unit, Naval Base San Diego. There she was advanced to Petty Office Second Class. In October 2004, she transferred to the USS Pearl Harbor (LSD-52) where her tour onboard was a part of “Partnership of the Americas Deployment 2007” participating to support and enhance relationships throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. There she was meritoriously advanced to Petty Officer First Class via the Command Advancement Program.
In 2008 she went on to become a Recruit Division Commander at RTC Great Lakes to achieve and promote the “Future Leaders of the Navy”. She completed all requirements earning her the title Master Training Specialist. She successfully trained nine divisions totaling 792 new Recruits, earning her the Recruit Training Service Ribbon.
Upon receiving orders to the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74), August 2011, she was selected to Chief Petty Officer. She served as the S-9 LCPO, S-8 LCPO and S-6 LCPO. Upon her transfer to Carrier Strike Group Three, she was selected to Senior Chief Petty Officer. There she served as the N4 Logistics Specialist. She transferred from CCSG-3 in October 2016 to Defense Service Office West Detachment Bremerton, where she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader.
Her personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals (two awards) the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (seven awards) and various campaign, unit, and service medals.
She reported to PMO Headquarters in May 2018.
