PACIFIC OCEAN (April 3, 2014)  Capt. Mark Benjamin, center right, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), approves the course Frank Cable will take to rendezvous with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Cesar Chavez (T-AKE 14) to conduct an underway replenishment. This is the first underway replenishment for Frank Cable in ten years and will take on 280,000 gallons of fuel from Cesar Chavez. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility and is on a scheduled underway period.
