Mineman Master Chief Jeremy McIntosh
Senior Enlisted Leader
Master Chief Jeremy McIntosh is a Native of Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He enlisted in the United States Navy in July 2001. He completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lake, Illinois.
Upon graduation, he proceeded to Machinist’s Mate (MM) “A” school in Great Lakes, Illinois prior to reporting the USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67). While aboard USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67), he earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification and achieved the rank of Third Class Petty Officer. In 2005, he reported to Naval Station Ingleside to complete Mineman “A” School, and Minehunting Sonar Set Operator “C” School prior to reporting to MCM Crew Implict onboard USS Dextrous (MCM 13). In 2008, he reported to Mobile Mine Assembly Unit Ten (MOMAU 10) where he advanced the rank of First Class Petty Officer. Then he reported to MCM Crew Constant where he quickly qualified as a Surface Rescue Swimmer. In 2014, he was selected to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. After his MCM tour, he transferred to Mine Warfare Training Center. He served as an Instructor and Leading Chief Petty Officer for Facilities Department. There, he obtained his Master Training Specialist qualification and advanced to Senior Chief Petty officer. In 2018, he reported to USS Chief (MCM 14), where he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader and Combat Systems Department Leading Chief Petty Officer, and graduated from the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 226 Blue Group. Following his MCM tour, he reported to Mobile Mine Assembly Group as the Operations Department Leading Chief Petty Officer.
Master Chief McIntosh graduated from the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 226 Blue Group.
Master Chief McIntosh assumed the duties as Senior Enlisted Leader at Mobile Mine Assembly Group on 23 July 2025.
His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Award (1 award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (10 Awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (1 award), and various unit and campaign awards.
