CDR Scott Ludwig

TUSC LANT Executive Officer

CDR Scott LudwigCommander Ludwig is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He enlisted in 1994 and received his commission through the Limited Duty Officer Program in 2007. He laterally transferred to the Information Warfare community as an Information Professional in 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from St. Leo University and a Master of Science in IT Project Management from American Military University. He completed JPME I and II through the Naval War College and Joint Forces Staff College.

Afloat, he completed three assignments aboard USS PARCHE (SSN 683), USS ALASKA (SSBN 732), and USS HENRY M. JACKSON (SSBN 730).

Ashore, he served as Communication Team Trainer Instructor at Trident Training Facility Bangor, WA. As an Officer, his assignments include: Communications Officer of Naval Submarine Support Center, Norfolk, VA; Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Requirements Officer at Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic (COMSUBLANT); Training Officer at Commander, Undersea Surveillance (CUS); Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS) Maintenance Officer and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Officer at Commander, Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR); Director for Support at Naval Ocean Processing Facility, Dam Neck (NOPF DN); Deputy Director for C4I for Commander, Submarine Force Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC), and most recently as Information Warfare Readiness Operations Center (I-ROC) Project Lead at NAVIFOR. He reported as Executive Officer to Theater Undersea Surveillance Command Atlantic (TUSC LANT) Dam Neck, VA in December 2025.

Commander Ludwig’s personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2), Navy Commendation Medal (5), the Navy Achievement Medal (4) and various service and unit awards.
