Cmdr. Anthony Ardito

CDR Anthony Ardito

Commander Anthony (Tony) Ardito is a native of Ogden, Utah. He is a 2007 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he majored in Physics. He holds a Master of Engineering Management Degree from the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.

His initial operational assignment was USS COLUMBUS (SSN 762) where he completed one Western Pacific Deployment and a nine-month dry-docking maintenance availability. He was then assigned to Destroyer Squadron NINE where he served as the Submarine Liaison Officer, Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer, Planning Assistant Officer, and Weapons and Munitions Officer during the 2011-2012 deployment aboard USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His Department Head assignment was as Engineer aboard USS ANNAPOLIS (SSN 760) for a two-year Engineered Overhaul and homeport shift. His last operational assignment was as the Executive Officer aboard USS KENTUCKY (SSBN 737)(GOLD) where he completed two Strategic Deterrent Patrols.

Ashore and staff assignments include teaching Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps at Duke University, Strategic Targeting Intelligence Production Chief at United States Strategic Command, and the Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Commander, United States Strategic Command. His most recent staff assignment was as Branch Chief for Non-Kinetic Planning, Contingency Plans Division, United States Strategic Command.
