Captain Stephany Moore

CAPT Stephany MooreCaptain Stephany Moore is native of New York and a 1998 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Political Science. She also holds a Masters of Public Administration from Old Dominion University.

Commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer, her initial assignments were Communications Officer and Combat Information Center Officer aboard USS Tortuga (LSD 46), Fire Control Officer aboard USS Bon Homme Richard (LHD 6), and Fleet Forces Command N8 Staff Officer.

As an Intelligence Officer, her assignments included Joint Forces Intelligence Command, Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center Department Head, Center for Naval Intelligence Requirements Director, Naval Special Warfare Development Group Intelligence Department Operations Officer, U.S. Pacific Command Joint Intelligence Operations Center Chief of Targeting, Carrier Strike Group 12 Deputy Information Warfare Commander and N2 aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), Executive Officer, Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center, Director for Intelligence, Commander, Submarine Forces Atlantic, Executive Assistant to the Commander, Naval Information Forces and presently serves as Commander, Undersea Surveillance.

She is the recipient of various personal, unit, and campaign awards including the Edwin T. Layton Leadership Award, Naval Intelligence Professionals Award for Exceptional Leadership in Intelligence Support to the Fleet, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal.
