US, Republic of Korea Submarine Forces Strengthen Alliance

Youn Jeong Sang, commander, Submarine Force, Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN), sign a formal agreement at the conclusion of the 43rd Submarine Warfare Committee Meeting (SWCM) reaffirming the longstanding relationship between the two countries and pledging continued support between the two submarine forces. SWCM is a bilateral discussion between the U.S. and ROKN submarine forces designed to foster the partnership and focuses on submarine tactics, force integraton and future submarine development.
