CSS-11 Recognizes Senior Chief for Heroic Actions

SAN DIEGO (Jan. 8, 2016) - Capt. Gene Doyle, commander, Submarine Squadron 11, awards Senior Chief Electronics Technician John Montgomery with a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his heroic actions in a vehicle accident the previous week. USS Hampton Returns Home from Deployment

SAN DIEGO (Oct. 13, 2015) The Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Hampton (SSN 767) is pierside after returning home from an extended deployment. Hampton deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility where the crew executed the Chief of Naval Operations' Maritime Strategy in supporting national security interests and maritime security operations.
