ROK, US Submarine Commands Hold Talks, Cinch Ties for 30th Year
YOKOSUKA, Japan - YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 28, 2024) Rear Adm. Kang Jeong-ho, commander, Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy Submarine Force signs a 30-year commemoration book with Rear Adm. Chris Cavanaugh, commander, Submarine Group (CSG) 7, at CSG-7 headquarters aboard Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Sept. 28, 2024, during the Submarine Warfare Committee Meeting (SWCM). SWCM complements the many combined port visits, exercises, training, operations, and other military cooperation activities by the U.S. and ROK submarine commands. CSG-7 directs forward-deployed combat-capable forces across the full spectrum of undersea warfare throughout the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea.
