YOKOSUKA, Japan - YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 28, 2020) Rear Adm. James “Jimmy” Pitts, a native of Milton, Florida, relinquishes command to Rear Adm. Leonard Dollaga, a native of Vallejo, California, during Commander, Submarine Group 7’s (CSG7) change of command ceremony at Fluckey Hall. Vice Adm. William Merz, Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet presided over the ceremony. CSG7 directs submarine activities throughout the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea; two forward-deployed submarine tenders and four attack submarines homeported in Guam; five surveillance towed array sensor system vessels and three oceanographic survey vessels when tasked for theater anti-submarine warfare operations.
